In parallel to all this we will have our usual geology and dolphin watching boat trips running from Carrigaholt weather dependent. The Seol Sionna Traditional Boating club’s Sally O’Keeffe will also be out and about on the water at this time and weather depending, you may get a chance to be a crew member for the day.

Loop Head Labyrinth at Purecamping
We will be opening the festival at the Loop Head Labyrinth, Purecamping where we celebrate all the Celtic festivals year round, including this significant time of the Summer Solstice (June 21st) which is the longest day of the year. The Solstice Celebration will start at 7pm on Friday and will then lead onto the opening of The West Clare Trails at 8.15pm
The West Clare Trails
The West Clare Trails are a community led project that has resulted in 14 marked trails being highlighted and waymarked around the Loop Head Peninsula, Co. Clare. Six trailheads have been selected with multiple walks beginning at each trailhead.
Mags Keane of Keane’s bar, Carrigaholt will launch the trails. Mags was awarded the Clare volunteer of the year award this year for her Community walks initiative which uses these very trails.
Come and say hello and find out more about the walks in your area.

We hope to see at some of our events, whether it is on The Alpaca Farm Tour, The Secret Life of Horses, a craft workshop or maybe in one of the several pubs hosting music sessions.
Come along and have some fun!
