Important Event Update from the Organisers of Run Kilkee
Based on the most recent Government guidance relating to COVID-19 it very clearly is not possible to safely proceed with Run Kilkee as planned. Therefore, we have made the decision to postpone Run Kilkee for this year to Saturday 10th July 2021. We fully appreciate the disappointment that this will bring but we have to put the health and wellbeing of all our runners, walkers, crew, medical providers and all our collective extended families first.
All registrations have automatically been transferred to Saturday 10th July 2021 and you do not need to do anything further at this stage if you have already registered for the 2020 event.
We thank your sincerely for your cooperation and understanding and of course please email us at if we can be of any assistance or if you have any queries.
Kilkee by the sea, it’s the beauty that sets your mind free.
Run Kilkee will take place along the spectacular Loop Head Peninsula in Co. Clare on Saturday 11th July 2020.
The course consists of a 13.1 mile Half Marathon and a 10km run/walk set along the stunning sea cliff panoramic views of the Loop Head Peninsula.
This is a ‘must do’ event in one of Ireland’s must beautiful locations on the Wild Atlantic Way with the course designed for runners and walkers to enjoy its breathtaking scenery and beautiful rugged coastline.
The routes will immerse runners and walkers in the natural beauty of the Loop Head Peninsula on the Wild Atlantic Way.
