Hi there, can you bring your dog on the walks? Thanks Yvonne
Hi Yvonne,
Thank you for your interest in the walking festival. I’m afraid dogs are not allowed on the guided walks.
Farmers in the area have asked us not to encourage dogs on their land, either with or without leads, as they may upset their animals,
which is very understandable.
There are plenty of beaches here though where you can take your dog out for a good run.
Kind Regards
Trea
Re Walking Festival – do you have a brochure on this event please. If so perhaps you might post to me
at the following address please:
Mary O Halloran, 65 Abbey Drive, Ferrybank,
Waterford City.
Would be interested in the Loop Head Walk, is there a lot of climbing in this or is it just the time that has classed it A category. Can we just do one of the walks.
Hi Audrey. Not too much climbing but you do need a good degree of fitness and it is uneven ground, and will take about 4 hours. Kind Regards. Trea
Hello,
A couple of questions which I am hoping you can answer please.
How many kilometres are the different walks. Any advice on where to base ourselves as we would be travelling from dublin, also what costs are involved .
Kind regards
